Ballet Dance Recital

We went to Alyssa's Ballet Recital on Saturday. The only thing I can say is that it was fabulous! The whole family went and cheered Alyssa on during her dance. She did a routine to "Stand by Me" and did a wonderful job. After the program, we went to Los Cucos for dinner with the family. All in all, it was a fantastic night!

Please take a good look at the ballet bun. My original work!

I have worked a grueling 4 days and am now off for 4 days......I am sooooo happy! The kids are off for 4 days, too, but Jessica will be going on the BETA trip to Dallas on Monday and we'll have to get her to the school by 4:00 am! She won't return until Tuesday at 5:30 pm. Alyssa has her first orthodontic appointment scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. We're hoping for beautiful teeth! (eventually) Last Saturday, we went to the SPCA and brought home our newest family member. Meet Sadie. She is a long-haired Chihuahua. She is a very sweet dog and needs just a little training and she'll be a wonderful addition to our family. Tomorrow morning, Sadie will go to the VCA Animal Hospital to get her check up to make sure that she has no major heath problems. Jess and I will go to see Judi to get our hair cut and Jess will get hi-lights put in her hair again. Saturday is Jessica's 12th birthday. We'll probably go to a movie and to dinner to celebrate. We're havi...
