Top 10 List

Wouldn't it be nice if we could just skim over Monday and go directly into Tuesday? Here's my top 10 list of why Monday's just don't work for me: 1. My alarm clock going off at 5:50 am 2. Yay! .....It's Easter Break!

I have worked a grueling 4 days and am now off for 4 days......I am sooooo happy! The kids are off for 4 days, too, but Jessica will be going on the BETA trip to Dallas on Monday and we'll have to get her to the school by 4:00 am! She won't return until Tuesday at 5:30 pm. Alyssa has her first orthodontic appointment scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. We're hoping for beautiful teeth! (eventually) Last Saturday, we went to the SPCA and brought home our newest family member. Meet Sadie. She is a long-haired Chihuahua. She is a very sweet dog and needs just a little training and she'll be a wonderful addition to our family. Tomorrow morning, Sadie will go to the VCA Animal Hospital to get her check up to make sure that she has no major heath problems. Jess and I will go to see Judi to get our hair cut and Jess will get hi-lights put in her hair again. Saturday is Jessica's 12th birthday. We'll probably go to a movie and to dinner to celebrate. A Look in to 2017 The last time I posted in this blog, Jessica was going to prom and Alyssa had just turned 15.  So, to update, Jessica is now about to finish her second year of college at Texas Women's University in Denton.  She will be coming back home this summer and finishing her last 2 years of nursing school here at TWU in Houston.  We are all really excited to have her be coming back home.   Alyssa is now about to finish 11th grade at JV High School.  Alyssa is in a Health Sciences class this year and goes to CyFair hospital to help out.  She is about to turn 17 next month and will be a SENIOR next year.  Time to start thinking about colleges for my baby girl! In October of 2016, we moved my mom and dad into a new house closer to Donna and myself.  This has worked out great with being able to see them more regularly and since they have both had some health issues it has been easier for Donna to get them to their doctors appointment...
