Yesterday, Jess cheered at her first JV football game and we won!! Alyssa and I sat in the bleachers and cheered HER on....and Alyssa ate lots of candy, especially since she caught 2 spirit sticks! Check out the videos and pictures on the tabs at the right. Today, Jessica got her hi-lights touched up by Judi. She fixed Jess' hair up in a new "do" and it looks really cute! Both girls also painted their horse boxes and they look really great but they still need to be "baked" in the oven to finish them up. Alyssa also decided to do some drawing and painting. Alyssa will be learning to knit after school on Tuesdays until Christmas vacation. Jessica decided that since Alyssa was learning that she would try to re-learn the art of knitting but she is getting really frustrated with it so I don't know how that's going to work out.

We survived the long weekend. The sleep-over went really well and the kids had a great time swimming and watching movies. Now it's back to reality. :o( Both kids had a bit of homework tonight and Jessica had cheer practice until 4:00. Alyssa will go to the after school "Head Start" tomorrow afternoon where she will make stalagmites or stalagtites or something like that!......I can't remember the correct term! She'll have math tutoring on Thursday and Jess will have practice on that same day. Friday is the first football game that the JV cheer squad will cheer at. Jessica has a follow-up eye doctor's appointment that same afternoon, but if we can finish up quickly, then we'll come back out for the game.....I guess we'll have to play it by ear.
