More Spring Break......

Image
Yesterday, I woke up very early to go to MD Anderson for my bone marrow aspiration. Elaine got up equally early to come over and watch the girls while Glenn and I went to the hospital. We were home by noon and I was able to take a much needed nap. Exciting Spring Break so far, huh? Today, we decided to take the kids to ITZ to have lunch and play some games. We spent the better part of the afternoon doing that and now we're going to go out to dinner at PF Chang's, our most favorite place! After that, we have rented "Twilight" and we're going to spend the evening watching the movie. Here are some pictures of the kids at ITZ.........

Spring Break

We all went to the beach today. The weather was beautiful......blue skies and green water....it doesn't get any better than that, does it? We decided right before we went to bed last night to go to Galveston this morning. We ended up going to Stewarts Beach and found a nice area that didn't have as many people on it. The kids played in the sand and water most of the day even though the water was at least 60 degrees! Even though we all put on sunscreen, we ended up VERY sunburned. We're hoping that it's better by tomorrow.

Spring Break Time!

Today was my last day at work before my Spring Break vacation. Glenn and I have decided to take the next couple of days and do something fun with the kids. They have a list a mile long of things they want to do, so it is anyone's guess what we will do first. On Friday, I will have to go in for my bone marrow test at MD Anderson. I'll have to be there by 6:45 am for my blood work and then my bone marrow will start at 8:00. After that, I have a doctor's appointment, so hopefully I will be back by noon. Granny Laine will be watching the kids and she has promised a fun filled morning for them. She said that she would take them to Monkey Biz if they want to and then somewhere special for lunch. They are really looking forward to that. I will keep everyone posted on what goes on for the rest of the week.
