Saturday Stuff

We have had a really busy Saturday, again. Jessica had to be at the Academic Rally by 11:45 this morning to take her English test. We brought Ashley G. home with us to work on a school project with Jessica for their Guidance Class. They finished it and then played around for awhile. They even made cupcakes with Alyssa's Cupcake Maker.......that's a really neat toy! Jessica went home with Ashley and I will have to pick her up tomorrow morning. I also found some old videos of Jessica on our old computer. Check them out at http://www.youtube.com/shellymilner I'll probably catch a lot of flack from the kids for th is one, but here is one of them many years ago in the bath tub.....I thought it was really cute.

My Friday

Somewhere along the way, I caught a cold. I thought it was allergies earlier in the week but it has settled into a cold. I know this because I can't breathe and it feels like someone is sitting on my chest. I ended up staying home today to rest up and boy did I! I slept for most of the morning. Then I went in and picked up the kids and brought them home. I was a little productive while I was at home. I figured out why I couldn't get the wireless internet to hook up to Alyssa's computer........I guess it helps if you enter the right password on your network setup. I just wish it would have said something like, "Stupid, you put in the wrong password", instead of just saying nothing! I worked on that silly thing for hours last weekend trying to figure out why it wouldn't connect. When I went to compare my setup to Alyssa's I noticed that the amount of characters put in my line were much less than the ones I had entered into hers......sooooooo that's how I

Our Busy Weekend With Birthdays and Horses

I promised I would have something to write about after the weekend was over and boy do I! We started out yesterday by going to Ryan's 1st birthday party. He had an Elmo cake that my sister made and another cake from Randalls that had Elmo and other Sesame Street characters on it. Ethan even got to help his liddle brudda blowout the candles on his cake......good job, Ethan! Ryan's Birthday Part 1 Later in the afternoon, we went out to "Little House" for Vicki's birthday party. Glenn had gone on ahead of the girls and I so he was already out there when we got there. We stopped at the grocery store on the way to pick up some carrots and apples for Penny, Pecos and Lily. All of the kids had a wonderful time feeding the horses their treats and then their hay. And speaking of hay, they had a great time playing in the hay! They also hooked the wagon up to the riding lawn mower and had their own little hayride around the property. Alyssa and Penny Jessica feeding Pecos h
