Schools out for Summer!
The kids had their last day of school last Friday. They went for only a half of a day and now it's on to Summer Vacation! Their first week was spent at Nana's relaxing and playing games on their laptops. Today both kids had a doctor's appointment for their annual physicals. Jessica had to get two shots for entry into 7th grade but Alyssa got off with not having to get any shots which made her extremely happy. Camp forms are signed so they are ready for their horse riding camp during the week of June 15th. Jessica also has dance camp starting on July 6th and then we will be going on vacation to Galveston during the week of July 20th. That pretty much sums up our 2009 summer. The kids will start school again on August 13th and I'm not sure why they are starting that early. I thought we were supposed to be following the directives of HISD but HISD doesn't start until August 24th, so who knows what's going on. Anyway, we'll have a fun-filled summer unti
