Not much going on around here this week. The kids have had the SAT tests at school all week so they haven't had any homework. Great for me, because I can work out in the evenings without worrying about having to stop and help study for tests, finish homework and other kid stuff. I also set up a FaceBook account this week. I have had a lot of fun updating and commenting on other people's FaceBook pages. It's amazing how many friends and family use FaceBook. It's a great way of keeping in touch with everyone. This weekend, we are planning a get-together at Mom's for my birthday, Rox's birthday and Mom's birthday. We're planning dinner for the whole family to celebrate. Jessica will be going to Kendel's birthday party to sleep with the White Tigers at the Downtown Aquarium. That ought to be fun - but she'll miss the fun at Nana's. I'm sure she's really upset!

Friday was Go Texan Day. The kids got to dress up in their western stuff. I got to leave work early - Yay for me! Alyssa pretty much got to have a "fun" day at school. They watched Pecos Bill and did some other Cowboyish stuff. She brought home the stick horse that they made over the past month and it hasn't left her side. She named her Bailey. :) This is also the name that she wanted to name the new colt to be born this spring but I don't think Vicki's going for that one. Jessica, on the other hand, did not have a "fun" day at school. It was business as usual. On Saturday, we decided to do some spring planting. The whole family went to Houston Garden Center and the kids got to pick out some flowers for themselves. I got some new flowers for my hanging basket and Glenn picked out a couple of Cypress firs for the urns next to the pool. Glenn worked all day Sunday, so I got the kids out of the house so he could have some quiet time to concentrate. We en
