So much to do, so little time to do it!!

Wow! Who opened up the flood-gate??? This weekend was so nice.........Glenn and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary. We went shopping and I got to pick out my anniversary present.......It's absolutely beautiful! Afterwards, we went to dinner at the Taste of Texas. Kids stayed at Nana's then she kept them busy for most of the afternoon on Sunday by taking them to the Spring Festival at the Church. Once back at home, though, Jessica needed help with her Science Fair project. Almost finished with that, now, YAY! Next, we have the First Communion Pot Luck dinner at the school on Thursday. I have volunteered to make baked beans but luckily remembered to buy the things I needed for it this weekend. Now I just have to find the time to make the dish. Let's see, Saturday will be Alyssa's First Communion at St. Ambrose and afterwards we'll be hosting lunch/reception at Nana's house. That's what's coming for the this week. I'll go into the following weeks...

We have been so busy this April. Birthday's, Easter, school activities and more! It looks like we only have about 5 weeks left of school and during that time, we'll be celebrating Alyssa's First Communion, Jessica's School Science Fair, Mother's Day, Alyssa's birthday, numerous other family birthday's, and I'm sure many other things. Last month we celebrated Jessica's 11th birthday with a spa sleepover. Lots of manicures, pedicures, facials, makeup application followed by a fashion show. I think everyone really enjoyed themselves. I think we'll try a swimming party for an end of school activity and if I'm brave, I might even attempt another sleepover party!! What?? I think I must be crazy!

Here are my little "country" girls (yeah right) riding the John Deere's at the rodeo. We're still trying to recuperate from both staying up late at the rodeo and the time change. Poor Alyssa fell asleep on the ride home from school yesterday, slept for over an hour and then she couldn't fall asleep last night. I, on the other hand, had every intention of going to bed early but started working on my laptop and still didn't get to bed on time. I'm sure that I'll be paying for that today!

2008 Livestock Show and Rodeo

We went to the 2008 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo yesterday to see none other than Hannah Montana. My ears are still ringing from all of the high pitched screaming girls that showed up for the concert! We had a great time.........check out the posted photos of the girls at the rodeo. Next on our agenda for the month is Spring Break at Disney World. Now all I have to do is figure out when I am going to get packed! Hopefully, towards the end of the week, I won't be running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get the last minute details accomplished. Once we get back from Disney, I'll post more pictures on the site. I know many of you have already seen this, but here is the link to Jessica's singing act at the 2008 St. Ambrose School Talent Show. We all had a really great time. http://http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=sflorvLwsnM
