Another Week Gone.......
Another week has flown by! Jessica had Cheer Camp with the professionals this week. Tuesday through Thursday she practiced fom 8:45 until 4:00 each day. On Thursday afternoon, they had a program to show us what they had learned. Unfortunately, I forgot the camera to take any pictures because of the Rogue Cockroach that came in on Jessie's hair that same morning. She went out to the garage to put her cheer bag in the car and evidently a cockroach hitched a ride on her head to come back into the house. When she realized it was in her hair, she flicked it onto the floor in front of me and I had to do the screaming dance before I found the RAID to spray on it. After that it was out the door and what do you know???? ......I forgot the camera!
This weekend, we decided to spend the weekend at home. We cleaned closets and kids rooms and took boxes upon boxes to the Goodwill Drop Box......but the rooms look really great! I think we'll go to the movies tomorrow. We want to see Journey to the Center of the Earth.......maybe in 3D, maybe not! We'll let you know whether it's good or not.
Next week, both girls have Cheer Camp at St. Piux X. Alyssa will be considered as an individual and Jessica will be on a squad. That means that Alyssa will only be practicing until 12:00 and Jessica will be practicing until 2:00pm. Both girls will have a program to show what they have learned on Friday.
We had a nice evening at home on Friday night. The girls and I stopped by Kroger's and picked out their "Chipotle Marinated Chicken" to put on the new gas grill. We swam first and then bbq'd the chicken. Saturday night we tried our hands at making our own homemade pizzas. Everyone got to put whatever they wanted on their own pizzas.....they really turned out great!!
